Each year your union represents your interests to improve our pay and conditions.
During the 2025/26 negotiations, the result in the pay award, which had been an important issue for members, and raised with the union by members. Was resolved early for the first time in a number of years.
Remembering that the delays in previous years until the resolution had been a major point of concern by members during those negotiations. Even though the union corresponded with members to keep them updated.
Remember that it is important that you ensure your contact email, phone number and address are kept up to date on your union membership.
This time, for 2026/27 , your union has been in discussion with the other two unions, and negotiations with the employer are to commence early.
It is anticipated that GMB, with the other two unions, will be discussing jointly in November, what pay and conditions changes will be put to the employer.
