GMB’s PPE Fit for All campaign is really kicking off.
It’s been picked up in local, national and international news and our members stories of inadequate and downright dangerous PPE are having a real impact. If you have any pictures or stories showing poor PPE, share them with your union Reps to help the GMB campaign.
The next meeting will take place on Friday 27th March at 12pm-1pm for your Reps. Whether you have already been involved in the campaign or would simply like to find out more, all GMB rrepswill have access to the updates.
Reps from across industries have found women in particular are left unsafe, uncomfortable and unappreciated by unsuitable PPE. And it is an issue that effects everyone – men are repeatedly reporting inadequately fitting PPE too. PPE is there to keep us safe – it needs to be suitable for all shapes and sizes, all ethnicities and religions, all physical health and neurodiverse conditions.
