World Mental Health Day is every October.

Mental health is a workplace issue. See the TUC webinar Here, or click Here for the ACAS video on this matter.
Where you have workplace mental issues, do not feel alone. Look at the support areas on the TMBC portal to assist you and the other support access through the NHS.
Where you believe the work stress is caused within the workplace and you are not getting any support from your management or your supervisors/colleagues may well be impacting on your wellbeing and not listening to your concerns. Contact your union representatives to discuss any possibly options to take forward with your management to reduce or alleviate the causes of the situation you find yourself in.

A quarter (25%) of UK workers report feeling unable to cope with workplace stress, showing the need for more support.
79% of employees are experiencing moderate-to-high stress levels, with younger employees (16-24) and women showing the highest stress levels.
Signs of burnout are becoming more common, with 63% of UK employees now showing symptoms like exhaustion and disengagement, up from 51% two years ago.
The above TUC webinar is a discussion on mental health as a workplace issue. The webinar includes representatives from CWU (Communications Workers Union), POA (Prison Officers Association), and the Shop workers’ union (USDAW), who will share some campaign work around mental health workplace initiatives, policies and practices reps have negotiated with employers in their workplaces.
Hear valuable tips and good practice methods that are making an impact on the wellbeing of workers.
