We provide advice, support and representation as well as organising campaigns and negotiating to improve and protect our members pay, terms and conditions of employment.
Importantly, we are local Tameside GMB Union representatives, who have good experience and connections with our employer.
Anyone in employment has a legal right to be a member of a trade union and to be represented by GMB.
We advise members to contact your GMB Tameside 08 Branch regarding any issues at the earliest possible moment. Issues can be resolved quicker and easier if your Union is there to advise, support and negotiate on your behalf at the beginning. Your biggest problems occur with sickness, harassments, potential grievances and investigations leading to possible discipline. We are here to help and will always find the time to speak to you in a setting that is preferential to you and our reps.
