During the week of May 18th, our Branch Secretary proudly attended the recent conference on behalf of our entire GMB branch. Our core mission at this event was simple: to stand up for our disabled members and ensure your voices are heard.
We know that navigating the workplace can be incredibly challenging when the right support isn’t in place. Reasonable adjustments aren’t a luxury, they are a fundamental right.
Too often, the burden falls on you to explain what you need. We believe it’s time to shift that responsibility. Moving forward, we are actively pushing for better education for both employers and management. It is their duty to understand their legal responsibilities and to create a workplace where you can thrive without barriers.
